Christina Huckins moved to Spokane in 2005 from the East Bay Area in California. She has been grooming pets for over 18 years. In California she was a veterinary assistant and dog boarding technician before learning to groom. She groomed in Spokane for 4 years before opening up The Puppy Pad in 2010. She works with animals because she has always been passionate about helping them look and feel beautiful and cared for. Her business style is about compassion and quality.

Natasha Morris is from North Idaho. She has been a pet groomer since 2012. She has been with The Puppy Pad since 2016.
Natasha works with animals because she likes connecting and caring for them. What we love about Natasha is her gentle nature and attention to detail, as well as her super sweet personality.

Maria Carter was born in Spokane WA and goes to Gonzaga. She grew up on a farm and animals have always had a special place in her heart, particularly dogs. What we love about Maria is her big smile, positivity, and kind nature.

Breanna Bursch is from Southern California and has been in Spokane since the 90’s. She has been a pet groomer for 17 years. She has also done mobile grooming and managed several shops. Breanna originally wanted to be a veterinarian but decided what she really wanted was to make pets happy and feel/look good. What we love about Breanna is her easy going personality and ability to work with pets that haven’t had the best grooming experiences.

Raelynn Koehler moved from Southern California in 2019. She learned at a busy grooming shop as a young teenager. She has been grooming pets for 15 years. She loves to make animals look and feel great. What we love about Raelynn is her willingness to cater to the clients and their pets, as well as her joyful personality.

Kristie Jensen moved to Spokane in 2018. She is from Southern California, where she was a veterinary assistant for 13 years, and then a boarding technician for 12 years. She came to The Puppy Pad upon moving here . She works with animals because she loves them, particularly our feline friends. What we love about Kristie is her dedication and loyalty, as well as her compassion for the animals.

Katherine Jansen is from Reno Nevada and came to The Puppy Pad in 2019. She has 20+ years working with animals in various positions, including working in a family ran animal transport service. She works with animals because she cares for and loves them. She wanted to be a veterinarian but decided that kind of care was not what she wanted to do. What we love about Kate is how she gets the pets all excited and makes them feel good while in our care, as well as her light-hearted attitude.

She has always been “a shop kid” watching and helping. She is currently our bather and is learning to groom pets. She enjoys working with animals because they are always
